The St. Brendan High Alumni Association (SBHAA) has launched its second annual SABRE PRIDE CAMPAIGN. Many of you may have already received the letter we mailed out last week. This campaign is the one time a year we solicit donations from Alumni in an all-in-one campaign to make it easier for you to make a difference and give back to our alma mater. Your donations will go towards three areas:

• Endowing the Father Dennehy Memorial Fund scholarship: This is the scholarship operated by the SBHAA to support students and their families that find themselves in urgent need. The FDMF funded two seniors who graduated from St. Brendan this year.

• Expanding the St. Brendan High Alumni Association: The SBHAA wants to continue to grow and expand what we do for, and with, our fellow Alumni in supporting the school.

• Supporting special projects at the School: This year, your proceeds helped St. Brendan make much needed upgrades to its facilities and help meet the financial challenges presented by the current economic crisis.

We hope you will also take the time to read the letter from Lourdemillard Bellevue, a Class of 2006 graduate of St. Brendan who was assisted by scholarship while in school and is now studying microbiology at UM. She is an example of how your donations make a big difference in the lives of current Sabres.
